Welcome to Lamoureux Cognitive Systems Ergonomics. We are a small consultancy providing high quality and experienced Human Factors and Project Management advice and services to customers in complex, dynamic, safety-critical domains. Typically, these domains fall under the umbrella of Command and Control and include defence, aviation, nuclear power generation, air traffic control and space systems. However, the demands imposed on people working in these domains means that our understanding of decision making and problem solving in high-stress and complicated situations can be applied to any job, regardless of the size of the system or team involved.

Lamoureux CSE aims to work in partnership with our customers. Recognising that our customers may be acting as a proxy for another user group, our approach includes identifying stakeholders with the customer and, if necessary, talking to these stakeholders to fine-tune the requirement and understand the problem space. Whether the job involves making substantive and immediate changes to a system to eliminate some identified problem, or carrying out research and development with an eye to creating future systems, teams and processes that are as good as they can be, we find the impossible point that represents the best balance between myriad stakeholders.
